The Santaman is the hardest I laughed at Homestar in a long time.  Not a slight on Homestar, I just mean it was a great gag.

Also  "Who's fabear?"

My two favorite bits were...
"Action!" as they are entering the factory.
Homestar sitting in a parked car as a hand behind it waves a branch to make it look like he's driving.
One Man Band Riffs.  18 riffs, over 600 served, since 2009.

Robot Chicken did a Homestar Runner themed sketch, and it is truly, truly terrible.  I don't know why I am mentioning it here.  This post borders on trolling because of how bad it is.

Gonna remote link because embedding might trick someone into thinking it is a quality Homestar cartoon.

You have been warned.
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.

If the post was this...

Robot Chicken did a ... sketch, and it is truly, truly terrible.

It generally kind of goes without saying.

I thought the show was pretty good for the first 3 or 4 seasons, but then it really went downhill fast.  They're up to season 9, and now the punch line for virtually every sketch is either sex or gory violence.  Sometimes poop is involved.

Way back in the day, I used to be a big fan of Twisted Toyfare Theatre, which was a photocomic created in Toyfare Magazine which was the inspiration for Robot Chicken.  I was pretty excited for the show, but when it came on, I found the show's actual humour pretty weak.  Though, I feel like a lot of Twisted Toyfare Theatre wouldn't hold up well for me either.

There are things that I still find funny on Robot Chicken, but I've only seen earlier episodes.

However, upon seeing this, I am reminded of the words of a great philosopher...

"Man, never show a good movie in the middle of your crappy movie."

The Kickstarter is at over 16.5K backers and over $1 million! I haven't seen a kickstarter rack up this much money in years!
