Yeah...holy crap is right.  How do you update everything on that site into anything OTHER than Flash?  That's quite the pickle.

Is this a real thing? Is Flash losing its Adobe support or something?

There was a story not too long ago where Flash had yet another security breach.  After that happened, all hell broke loose and the top people of Facebook, Firefox (well, sort of...they disabled it by default until the user updated Flash) and a bunch of other places (can't remember them all) said, "It's time that Flash must go!  For the good of the people!"  So, yes, a bunch of top drawer executives said Flash must go, so it must go.  Because HTML5 is absolutely perfect now and will never, ever have security vulnerabilities at any time.  Nevermind that a lot of places like Homestar Runner and Newgrounds now have to very quickly do a LOT of work before their content is rendered unusable on browsers.

I really don't have any issues with Flash one way or the other, but it sounds a little harsh to tell a company that their long-standing and somewhat still popular medium is a blight on the community and must be destroyed, even if it has issues.  And if it means harming Homestar Runner and its years of interactive tomfoolery, I'm more than a little perturbed at the blanket attack.

And the cartoon is up today! Haven't watched it yet, but it's still good to see new stuff.

Yeah, this was a pretty good one.  Always a treat to see a new Homestar cartoon.

Every time I see a new Homestar Runner, it reminds me of being in college, having a break between classes, and spending a couple of minutes have a nice, quiet chuckle at the latest cartoon.

I know the guys are busy with other projects, but it's amazing how big a smile these cartoons can put on your face.  I wish they had the time to bring it back in full force, but even these little treats are always welcome.
