Just a speculation... Don't go too crazy!! It would be awesome if it was though. If they do perform it live I really, really hope they do a studio version as well (unlike Jack apparently).

I'm pretty sure it's from the HD remaster that I've posted a few pictures from.  The guy on the Something Awful forum who found the film and is remastering it had been pretty quiet about his contact with Rifftrax and Mike when Mike posted in the thread about wanting to talk to him.

I'll probably see this, but I still don't really like the idea of re-riffing films featured on MST3K. There's other movies to riff, plus the MANOS episode is one of Joel's best. I could understand re-riffing from the KTMA season.

If this is true, they need to at least two great shorts, and the complete uncut version of MANOS. I donèt know what was cut from MST3K, if any footage.

You guys are probably right that it's the live event.

I kind of hope it's not though, because those of us outside of the US don't get the opportunity to see live riffs for ages. (See also: Jack)
