But I am not sure what they can make out of Dealthy Hallows Part I because from what I remember it was pretty bleak and slow.
On the other hand, it takes place away from Hogwarts, and all the annual occurrences that happen there, which I'm sure the guys are kinda sick of having to come up with jokes for. New settings, new story structure, it might be a breath of fresh air.
I know what you mean about the story, though. When the book came out, and I was reading it for the first time, and they were in hiding for about the 50 billionth chapter in a row, and it felt so UNLIKE the other books that I finally actually had to go online and look up a synopsis of the book to make sure I was reading the REAL thing, and that the publishers weren't screwing with me by sticking a fan-fic in my copy. Which was a dangerous thing to do, because I did not want anything spoiled for me, so I was like scrolling my browser down one line a time, and only read the plot synopsis up to a point way earlier than where I was in the book.
I loved the book, but there WAS a lull in story for sure, at about the same spot the movie kinda started to lull, but lasting many chapters.
