Here is my list. And yes, to reiterate, I was the person who didn't vote for Santa. I already had three variations of Santa on my list, and I just felt generic Santa was too, well, to be honest, boring. Besides, I never believed in Santa, so I missed out on that whole childhood experience.

I love the Grinch.  By far Dr. Suess' Best work and quite possibly Chuck Jones' (after Duck Amuck).  Rewatched Alistair Sim Scrooge last night.  I think the reason Scrooge and Grinch make such great characters is that they are truly nasty in the beginning and yet somehow the change of heart in both their stories seem plausible since their nastiness doesn't stem from simply being born evil, but simply being blind to a better way of living.  I love almost any incarnation of A Christmas Carol.  Almost.

Here is my list. I had a pretty good showing this time.
 I've never seen Miracel on 34th St. or It's a Wonderful Life, so if I had, I probably would have put a character or two from that replacing some of the ones at the bottom.
Also, I was unaware of a lot of the non-typical and no-Christian characters that made it on the Top 50, so I am glad it had a more diverse variety than I had.

So thoughts: Well I wish I'd done more with Linus, but most of my thoughts about where the kids in Peanuts end up aren't festive so maybe something for a different list.

I'm really pleased that people enjoyed the musings of Krampus, aside from the couple that featured blonde Zooey Deschanel and a girl that works at the Whole Foods I shop at, my dreams last night mostly featured tentative plans for a rod and glove puppet of the lovable spirit of punishment (I know how John Galsworthy felt in creating Soames Forsyte; he starts of making him a monster, by the end he's adorable )

I love The Women In Black, it's a phenomenal ghost story for Christmas, I've never seen, or heard, a bad version of it. My favourite so far is the radio version though.
