RIP Joe Simon

The co-creator of Captain America and Many others has passed at age 98

That's a good long life.  Though they are considered to be some of the worst comics of all time, Brother Power the Geek and Prez have sort of gained popularity in recent years simply because they were sort of bizarre and imaginative and ahead of their time in many ways.  Even Joe Simon didn't like to talk about those comics (though it's unclear if he was embarrassed by them or upset about how his books were treated by the company), but I think that despite their problems (and partially because of them) they were something I find fascinating.

I own both Prez and Brother, Power Geek comics.  They're kinda awesome, in a really silly way.

98 is a pretty great age, though.  RIP.
