I did.... but I'm into silly humor like that.  It almost seemed like a parody of RPGs, though more of their stories instead of the mechanics.  I laughed every time I had to fight abstract art.  And the key items were great.  You would get stuff like salmon ice cream, and have no idea what it's for until you find guards that say "man, I could sure go for some salmon ice cream..."

I was the shiz on Kings Quest back in the day when you had to do basically command line prompts to get your guy to move. "LOOK at TREE." "I do not understand tree."  "F--k you." "You cannot f--k, at least not now." heh.

No, I have tried various MUDs but I can't into them.  I think Kings Quest is as close as I can get.

MUDs weren't geeky enough for me. I needed MUSHes. It's no good to just play a text based RPG. I want to ROLE-PLAY. As a TRANSFORMER! In an OBSCURE TRANSFORMER FACTION called the JUNKIONS... :^)

Hey I wasn't even the nerdiest nerd at the nerd-ball. There are people who love Transformers, there are people who REALLY love Transformers, and then there are people who legally change their name to their self-created Transformer's name. :^) Still, that's how I met m'wife initially, then in person at a Transformers convention. Ain't no better love then geek love and it tends to make both parties shed their geekiness. :^)
