I don't know if anyone is like me, but often when I listen to music I like, if it's not already directly connected to a narrative or if it's narrative (assuming it has one) is open to interpretation, I like to connect in my mind to a character, story or scene from a story (sort of like when there's a really good film trailer or montage in a movie). The premise of this game is to suggest a song and have the next player describe what or who it would make the theme for.
So for example, if someone says "the Doctor (as in Doctor Who)"

someone else might say
http://www.youtube.com/v/X5iOiLX5ppANow it doesn't have to be fictional, but that can be a good starting point. Now if the story, characters, person or scene has there own theme song already (like Ghostbusters, The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins or the most recent version of Candle in the Wind stupid Elton John) then you can go with that, but it is fun to connect a character to a song that you might not expect. I hope you like this game, because while it seems fun to me, it might just confound everyone else.
And remember, you can suggest either the song to go with the person/place/thing/event or the person/place/thing/event to go with the song. It's wide open.
I'll start:
What song do you think would represent with this person
