Gore Factor: High (not in blood, just in ooze)
Sad Factor: Low to Mid: Gizmo and Billy save the day and Stripe becomes an oowey gooey mess. Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeet the sun shine in.
Wow/Kickass Factor: Super High. The movie itself was awesomeness incarnate and this was the icing on the cake of a film about cute and cuddly creatures that turn DEADLY.
 

Synopsis:

Let’s face it. I’m cute. And let’s also face it, as a woman, I can turn into a mean ass bitch. The story of Stripe is very similar. Stripe was born through the accidental reproduction of one Gizmo P Cuteypants. Stripe was a born Oediupus, though….slowly learning to loathe the father figure that is Gizmo. In an act of defiance, Stripe eats fried chicken after midnight (wouldn’t you?) and turns into the inner representations of all our demons! After wreaking havoc on all, he is finally outwitted by the most diabolical thing imaginable….the sun. Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet the sun shine in!

Wow/Kickass Factor: High. I remember when this show first came out how the many many deaths of Kenny were the talk of the town when I was a youngin.
 

Synopsis:

Poor Kenny. Dirt poor with alcoholic parents, Kenny is the scapegoat of the South Park “gang,” but really he is the heart and soul of this four little boys….and innocence…the innocence that gets dragged to death via go-kart, gets impaled on a flag pole, and gets cremated and ingested by Cartman (because ashes totally look like chocolate milk powder). Throughout it all. Kenny’s death have become one of the many iconic idiosyncracies of South Park.

Wow/Kickass Factor: High. Was it a Romeo and Juliet “I can’t live without my love death?” Was it a suicide because he didn’t want to live anymore? Did Spike fake his own death so he could finally live his own life without living in fear?
 

Synopsis:

Spike fell in love with a woman he should not have. Then he was told she was dead, so he began his life on the run. He learns his love is alive only to have her die in his arms later. In an act of defiance he goes apeshit crazy and gets shot. The perfect example of a man over the edge, Spike’s death is a tragic and beautiful scene filled with love and longing.

Obi Wan Kenobi?  Really??  That death was kind of lame.  He just stood there.

I suppose we could all petition Uncle George to CGI-ify Obi Wan and Vader's fight for the next "special super-duper" edition and make them go all flippity floppity and have Obi Wan do a Triple Lindy into Vader's waiting saber.

Now there's one that never would have occurred to be. I found that movie highly disturbing as a child, and have only seen it a couple times since then. Good choice.
