It's still got bare cement everywhere, and a depressing paint scheme, and exposed ductwork.
It kind of reminds me of the architecture of Ben Afleck's apartment in Paycheck.
That look is pretty popular in conversion apartments, since people want to remember that the place they're living used to be a factory or whatever, that's how a bunch of the apartment developments look in the gentrified areas of Detroit.. It can look great, I suspect the best camera in the world couldn't make that particular one look all that good however.
