Continuing in the Corgi vein....

The only thing cuter than a Corgi butt is a hamster butt.

Family for life?  Humans have like 6 times the lifespan of dogs.

Exactly, plus my father and grandmother didn't cease to be family simply because they died and nor did Dolly.

I assume the parents will kill the kid right before the dog dies of old age.  Makes total sense to me.

And you guys ALMOST convinced me that I will get a Corgi next instead of another Doberman in the future.  We must work on that.

Don't do that.  Get a dachshund.  Dachshunds > Corgis.

Or you could do what Brenda does and have Dorgis.

I've heard that rabbits can occasionally be mean. But they are darn cute.

Gosh. I don't think I've ever been bitten by any of my rabbits. I had one as an indoor pet for a while. All of my rabbits have been pretty sweet and docile, although as a general rule they are not thrilled with being held.

They're not rodents.

A friend of mine was given a rabbit by one of her slightly shady uncles when she was little; it was sort of brindled in colourations and occasionally made hissing noises when she approached, eventually it grew, and grew, and grew till even those unfamiliar with them could tell it was a hare. Never was she more please to let a "pet" go run free.

Even to this day she can screw her face up in mimicry of how the thing looked when it was fully grown and chaffing to be free.
