A comparison, two Paps one Nightwing (on the left)

That puppy will grow up to look something like this:

"Turn off your mind, relax, and float down stream..."

[By the way, I'd say he was enjoying it, not just 'accepted' it, as the brown thing in the tub with him in two of those clips appears to be plenty tall enough to stand on out of the water if he wanted to do something other than swim or float. :)]

Yeah, for some reason I think the hedgehog seems super excited to be in the tub.  His behaviour reminds me of a character from Wind in the Willows or something.

I WANT A HEDGEHOG.

  Dammit, you and me both.

It's pretty funny reading the PA gaming commission's reasons for the ban here, they go on and on about how invasive it would be if they got into the wild.  So, I'm assuming since it's legal to own them in every single state around PA those states must have lots of wild hedgehog problems?  Funny, I can't seem to find any reports saying that...

And when you think the state above PA pretty much allows any animal to be kept by private citizens, you have to wonder what so threatening about little hedgehogs.

My dogs' vet is also an expert on hedgehogs as she used to breed them (she alsi owns five papillons) so I'd feel fairly confident about getting one, if I thought the dogs would take to it.

Yeah, PA bans hedgehogs. I can live with it, I suppose. Lord knows I love hamsters enough. But it's just kind of a bummer to know I won't be able to have one while I live in PA.

North Carolina, however....

Must be one of those things where if they do get loose, the natural predators wouldn't be able to keep up with the population growth. Like rabbits in Australia.

Difference is Australia is like some sort of Wonka mixing room for Placentals; Marsupials simply can't keep up with the efficient killing and eating machines that Placentals are.
