RVR II's Star Trek thread.. Cause it's sure to veer off course!

Yeah, that first one with Barclay is a lot of fun, the second one isn't as fun but still a good episode.

I also like the one with the planet that is moving really fast in time, and the one where they find the old Mars ship.

I used to really like the one were Kes comes back but after a few times it's impact is less, and the real life problems the actress has been going through also make it harder to watch.

Funny you say half and half, these last 2 seasons are the best of Voyager, but still I don't think they get to more than 50% in terms of re-watchable episodes.

Yeah that's what I meant about the 50/50; some are worth rewatching while others are not. I would need an episode list to scroll through to find the ones worth rewatching

The part with Chakotay being obsessed with it was kind of overblown, but the recording of the guy that died on the ship was well done, and it showed some character development for Seven at the end.

If they had come up with a more plausible way to have them stuck in the anomaly with the mars ship other than Chakotay being obsessed it would have been a much better episode.

Just finished the last 8 episodes of Voyager Season 7 (cause I need to concentrate on finishing our suitcases for our trip to Mexico in a couple more days) and again the episodes seemed all over the place.

I actually got a good laugh out of the episode Body & Soul where the doctor was stored inside 7 of 9.. She did a great job impersonating the doctor
The Prophecy episode with the Klingons was rather bizarre I thought
The Workforce 2 parter had its moments..
Of all the Q appearances, Q2 I didn't really enjoy that much
And I didn't remember much of the final episode Endgame but Admiral Janeway going back in time was just a bit far fetched I think though that shielding seemed pretty badass

Looking back, I think Jeri Ryan would have been a better captain Janeway than Kate Mulgrew

I watched the Barclay episodes (my roommate showed them to me). He really loves the 9th degree, and he wishes they had turned that episode into a movie. I asked him if he has ever seen Star Trek: The Motion Picture (he has not).

Anyway, the character was annoying, but I really liked the stories. And I liked the idea that the awesome people on the bridge actually gave a shit about a lowly engineer. If only they cared as much about their dead ensins (enson? ensign?).

Barclay was in I think 3 episodes of Voyager and those are some of the best ones in that series.

Evil hologram Barclay was great.

I got real excited when Barclay got a cameo in First Contact. Wish he had been in more. Always wanted to see more from him on TNG.
