I remember seeing that scene where Beverly pulls on that zipper in "The Naked Now". I was a kid when I first saw that scene and I remember even as a 9 year old at the time being very... interested in Beverly continuing to unzip her uniform. Part of me was screaming "Keep pulling that fucking zipper down! Why did you stop?".

Happy birthday to Eugene Wesley "Rod" Roddenberry, who was born on February 5, 1974. Rod (and his birthday) are honored in the Starfleet registry number of DS9's Starship Defiant, NX-74205.

Gene Roddenberry, AKA The Great Bird of the galaxy. Every time I think of that term, it makes me think of the Klingon bird of prey, which is quite possibly the coolest ship design ever.
