rewatching voyager, i just got through threshold. while it's not great, it's not the worst thing ever.

I recently saw the Voyager episode "Worst case scenario". What they depicted in the episode I would hardly call the Worst Case Scenario, it was more like Overstated thing that happens roughly 19 out of 20 times people visit the holodeck.

I wouldn't say that, but the first two episodes are pretty weak. Especially the first. I don't know what CBS was thinking airing just that and then expecting people to pay for CBS All Access. Discovery doesn't even show up until episode 3.

I'm sorry to hear that. Of course that's happened with other Trek shows then they got much better later.

Yes. Some of the characters are interesting. The captains, the female klingon, and the parakeet-guy are interesting. Like in other series there's always recurring characters that just rub you wrong way but that's par for the course for ST. The special effects are really good. The science fiction is good.

I'll watch the series once and then probably never again.

Right now I'm getting my Star Trek fix from The Orville.
