Thor needs to team up with J.K. Simmons to make fun of Tobey Maguire.

Oh, but if only someone would make a Joss Whedon action figure.  ;)

Holy shit! They did it! [Though, apparently, it is an INaction figure.]

Granted this is regarding the Captain America film, not The Avengers, but since the Cosmic Cube played a central role in both films [and in Thor, actually, though it was in an ornate box there], I figured this was the best place to post this.

In case anyone was interested, this is the first time the Red Skull got hold of the Cosmic Cube...  [yes: 'Cosmic Cube' not 'tesseract'... a tesseract is a 'plain' 4D cube [these words are a link to one]: no 'powers' to it.]

I liked that the CA film paid tribute to this classic cover with the pose in this shot:

To be fair, how else would one hammily gloat over something in one's hand?

The thing is, by that point in the film, he'd had it for days, probably weeks, so theoretically his gloating should've been over (as he'd have had lots of time to simply pick it up and Marvel at its power).

Do you think that's a suitable punishment?

What?  You want me to D/C such comments in the future?

Well listen Harvey: I don't know who you think gave you the Gold Key to decide what should and should not be posted!  It isn't always EC to come up with such integral and Timely double-meaning word use.  They don't just pour out like water through a Fawcett!  And, hey, your puns aren't always a Prize, either (though sometimes they show a Valiant effort).  [And no, I didn't need an Atlas to pin down references for this post!]

If you still think I need to stop, you can just go to Dell!

:)  [I didn't mean to Eclipse your 'grounding' comment, but this was the First thing that came to me, and I have to keep up my Image here.]

I think we have a Dark Horse candidate for...uh...something. Am I doing this right?
