It looks like an MRI of Michael Bay's brain.

As a kid I always had this fantasy of converting a school bus into an awesome camper. This guy has done this:

He's some guy in eastern Massachusetts who is crazy handy. He chronicled his project from start to finish, and this is just one of many neat pictures.

As the other deer emerged into the clearing, Carl had to come up with a compelling reason for why he was yodeling.

i don't want to post the image here, since it's 7.3MB, but it's some guy's animated interpretation of rotating around this nebula:

and it's pretty freaking amazing: http://astroanarchy.blogspot.fr/2012/10/an-experimental-3d-animation-from-my.html

Is that just parallax that allows us the different angles?
According to the website it is a conversion from a 2D image.  At 2400 light years combined with it being a rather large object I don't think the parallax from the orbit of the Earth would show that much change of the nebula and background.

That area should be covered in the HIPPARCOS catalog, so all the star positions could be put into a 3D modeling program and an accurate 3D model generated, but it doesn't look like the artist did that.
