If you like wildflowers, and don;t mind the occasional overly solicitous street person, there's are many delightful meadows that were once subdivisions around the city.

I too love those shows about nature reclaiming the Hoover damn or other well known monuments to man's ambition, buit then, I love Ozymandias and The Course of Empire.
