Sooo.... just finished watching this one.  Uhhh... What did I just watch!?!  It was as if Robert Altman directed a David Lynch script but both just sorta gave up.  I was hesitant cuz I wasn't sure if this was gonna be "Drugs Are Like That"/"The Room" classic weird or "Santa & the Ice Cream Bunny"/"Birdemic" flat-out bizarre.  Glad to see I'd classify it as a perfect balance of the two.

Absolutely hilarious.  Laughed really hard many times.  I laughed through several jokes after Kevin screaming "YOU GLORIOUS, INGENIOUS B!TCH!!!"  I'm also gonna be saying "MIR-ROR" a lot now too.  The woman stroking the woodpiece just about had me do a spit-take.  Gonna hafta watch again cuz I prob laughed through some great jokes.

Definitely a 5-star short.  Thanks, guys!!

Does anyone else think the teacher with the glasses looks like a grown up version of the girl from Drugs are Like That?
I am Ambassador Phantom, from the planet Krankor! I am rapidly approaching your planet... in the warship, which you have just seen. I will arrive tomorrow night at precisely eight o'clock. At that time I shall make my wishes known to you. You will obey them... or die! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!

No. But only because she didn't twirl her braids.

Watched this through a second time, and decided my favorite moment is the two guys delivering the easel and library unit.  "We have a few other things for you..."  Sadly, we never see them return, and they don't even merit a name credit at the end like Helen and Roberta do.   :(

You are only on your 2nd time on this? I have lost count the number of times.

I've learned to pace myself after making the mistake of watching "One Turkey, Two Turkey" multiple times in one weekend, and then lying awake in bed unable to fall asleep as the insane turkey song looped endlessly through my head.

Although that probably wouldn't be a problem with this short.

I bet I've watched this 12-15 times now. Definitely my favorite short ever, beating out even Drugs are Like That, Moose Baby and One Got Fat. I particularly liked all the World War 2 references.

"You know, the more I think about this, all these changes could easily be undone later, and this probably DIDN'T require the planning level of the NORMANDY INVASION!"

And I actually have started this playing and then gone to bed, falling asleep while it's still playing. More than once. Like Conor said, it's oddly hypnotic. (Plus I take prescription sleeping pills).

Now... One Turkey Two Turkey Three Turkey Four GOBBLE... Oh dammit.

I thought I was the only one who did that.
