I don't know why you were insisting that all these lists were "pop culture and consumerist" but you're completely OK with movies as a source for them. That's inherently contradictory. This isn't about me being "mad about you not liking candy" (it wasn't even my suggestion to begin with), it's about your misplaced indignation.
An indignation that
you're imagining.
I was offering my opinion on the various list ideas. The reason I don't want another TV list has nothing to do with any philosophy or indignation; it's because
I don't watch much TV, therefore I can't participate in a TV-based LOC.
That's
all there is to it. I like participating in these LOC's. That's why I'm hoping for a topic I know enough about that I can participate in. You interpreted my casual thoughts as some sermonizing indignation against pop culture. I had no such thing in mind. You're basing your issues with me on a
misinterpretation.
If you're going to hate me, please hate me for the right reasons. Hate me for something I
actually said or did. If you're going to claim I said something, the least you could do is back it up. If you just called me an asshole, I wouldn't defend myself, everyone has a right to their opinion. However, you continue to insist I said something I didn't.

Honestly, I think the best resolution is for you to put me on a block list or something. This isn't the first conflict we've had based on communication issues. You jump to these negative conclusions about what I've written and get combative with me. I'm tired of it. Can we just both ignore each other? I don't post to this board for combat. This forum is supposed to be one of the more pleasant activities of my day. I'll ignore you if you ignore me, and we can enjoy peace again.
