Great.  I can extend the deadline a little if necessary, but I'll need a heads up on that.  It'll probably take me a couple days to finish counting all the votes (I do it by hand, like granma use to) so I'll keep accepting them during the process, but it's easier for me if they are all soon!

My list is sent. A few last second alterations because I questioned whether some selections should really count as fantasy, but only a little harm done.

The deadline is past, but there's still time to get in a list while I am doing my tabulating.  I won't be starting until Sunday night or early Monday morning, so you should have lots of time!  Still, the sooner, the better!

Remember, there's still time over the weekend to get your list in if you haven't yet.  The list is looking pretty good as is, but it would be great to see a couple more (besides, there are a couple that seem to be just short of making it.  It's giving me a frowny face).

On the plus side, I only see one real possibility of a tie so far...

Well, it was the inspiration for Gary Gygax's Advanced  Year Islands and Top Hat Sporting Babies.  Here's a sample from my campaign.

You land on the Island 1871.  You slowly get off your boat when your Top Hat Sporting Baby notices Boss Tweed embezzling funds meant to go to road repairs.  Noticing you, he picks up a great boulder and hurls it at you.  Roll a saving throw. *checks numbers* Enraged that he missed you, Tweed sounds the alarm! From behind you emerges the Tammany Tiger which roars deep and loud.  You thought he was just a metaphor for graft and corruption.  "Nope!" Says the Tiger.  The Tiger is also psychic.

Things are looking mostly good.  There is one tie so far.  Still, I'm hoping for one more list, so if anyone who hasn't participated has the time, please send one in.  (Yeah, yeah, I know, I sound desperate.)

Well it's all added up.  Just waiting to see if anyone else comes in at the last minute and for Mrs Dick Courier to clear something up (EDIT: this part is taken care of).

There's been about 170 some movies I had to sort through and after all that there's only one small tie!

Looks like I won't have many people so I'll post 5 early in the morning and 6 later on.  I think it's a good list but... well, one list away from being fantastic.  Let's just say there will be some controversial early picks.  Still, they are films 2 people voted for rather than one.  Also, #49 will be controversial not for quality but for the fact that most wouldn't call it a fantasy.  I gave it a pass since it was on a list that came in late.
