Gas Leak at Theater Made Me Miss the Show

(1/1)

Trilaan:
Okay, me and the 50-70 other people who were there.  Bought tickets for 7 of my good friends(including one with a 10 year old son and new fan of MST3K/Rifftrax and his wife who was having her first riffing experience).  Right when the evil wizard showed up, lights flashed, the PA came on with a squeal and said "This is an emergency, please proceed to the nearest exit and evacuate the building."  Stood outside for 15 minutes as fire trucks, police and a camera crew pulled into the theater lot and we were told there was a gas leak and a possibility of explosion.  Checked local news so in the end it seems nothing really happened.  I hope there might be a rebroadcast sometime in the future, if not it'll be as hard wait for the DVD release.

Bob:
THAT sucks....... big time.   Probably some fat guys with bad food court nachos.

Nothing so dnagerous at my theater, but we missed most of the first half because the theate employed Moe, Larry, and Curly -- they forgot to set the theater we were in for the satellite feed, so we got the regular trailers, followed by the first few minutes of "Harry Potter" before management got off their duffs, followed by about ten minutes of them fumbling getting the proper satellite feed connected.  BTW, somewhere in the world that night, a theater was receiving a Japanese cooking instructional video.
