Oh so is mine. My grandmother however was a complete tart, her stories are far more entertaining.

I use that a lot when I'm doing graphics work.

#12 – Bender

(87 Points)  6 of 19 Lists – Highest Vote: Number 5 (Gofyblind)
Voted by: Doctor Who?, Darth Geek, Monty, Gofyblind, FlockofRabidSheep, Anais.T. Kirk, Relaxing Dragon

Oh wait, that’s not the one you guys voted for

There we go

Full Name: Bender Bending Rodriguez (aka Bending Unit 22)
From: Futurama
Planet of Origin: Earth (Made in a in a factory in Tijuana, MX)
Position: Ship’s “cook,” alcoholic, whore-mongering, chain-smoking gambler, Bender of things not bent,

Known For: Drinking, Smoking, Stealing, and his love of Folk Music. Also, having a swarthy Latin charm

Sci Fi Themes:  Robots…Robots that do everything a human secretly wants to do (Drinking, Smoking, and Stealing with no consequences), Robots as BFFs

Dossier: What hasn’t Bender done? He was buried in Roswell from the 1950s to 3002 or 3003, he has stolen every major work of art, caused the destruction of earth civilization (one of the times), rescued a turtle from an over heated death, tossed Nibbler down the toilet only to go rescue him later…and the list goes on. Oh, also, changed his Gender to win the Olympics:

#11 – Spike Speigal

(89 Points) 5 of 19 Lists – Highest Vote: Number 3 (PakMan)
Voted by: PakMan, Invader Quirk, Asbestos Bill, Compound, FlockofRabidSheep, Relaxing Dragon

Full Name: Spike Spiegel (スパイク・スピーゲル Supaiku Supīgeru?)
From: Cowboy Bebop
Planet of Origin: Mars
Position: Bounty Hunter

Known For: Martial Arts style of Jeet Kundo, left a mafia syndicate that he was supposed to lead (due to jealousy issues with his BFF), uses slieght of hand in a way that would make Gob Bluth very envious, and is very (VERY) handy with a firearm.

Sci Fi Themes: Space Bounty Hunting, Living your own life, Destiny

Dossier: Spike was a rising member of the Red Dragon Crime Syndicate until he got wounded and fell in love with his best friend’s girl (scholars believe this incident was the correct inspiration for “Jessie’s girl.” Hoping he could go off with his girl and not get killed, Spike faked his own death. His girl, however, never showed….

Spike’s ending is not an end, but actually a determination to see if he ever truly lived.

BANG!

#10 – Darth Vader

(91 Points) 5 of 19 Lists – Highest Vote: Number 1 (Imrahil)
Voted by: Gunflyer, Cole Stratton, D. B. Barnes, Imrahil, Relaxing Dragon

Full Name: Anakin “Sand Hater” Skywalker
From: Star Wars Episodes 4-6
Planet of Origin: Tatooine
Position: Sith Lord, Personal Beotch to the Emperor, impregnator of Natalie Portman

Known For: Da Da Da, da da da, da da da. Also known for, having a beautiful black exterior and a crippled old white man underneath.

Sci Fi Themes:  Destiny (running theme I have noticed), Giving in to your hate, Redemption

Dossier: Look, we all know what happened to Anakin/Vader. It’s a typical “beware of your own talent because it can make you evil” story. Along the way, we learned that Anakin hates (I mean HATES) sand (he says it get’s “everywhere” but what he means exactly is never explained). Anakin also will go in killing sprees that make him feel icky inside.

Vader, on the other hand. Is a BADASS. If Vader’s helmet had an engraving it would say “Bad Mother Fucker on it.” He is cool, calm, collected, and will kill just because he has an itchy force finger. The real depth of his character occurs in The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi when he reveals his own identity to his son and then saves the little mini-Padme.

Then Lucas shites all over him by having Hayden Christiansen be in the updated Return of the Jedi

Known For: Being a squat crimson pig, liking to make bad puns, getting into brotherly fights with Crow and mocking Mike.

Sci Fi Themes:  Is collecting underwear and crying all the time a theme?
