I learned that somewhere, at some time in history, there was something called a "Moo-Ray Court". And that disturbs me greatly.

I learned that you can have a massive shootout in the woods at night (when sound usually travels pretty far), have a bunch of people die, and no one will come around to investigate or ask questions, not the "sheriff" or any relatives or friends of the dead guys....

I imagined the Sheriff of this town is the "Are you ready for some football?" guy from Lazerblast. He's probably too busy watching ESPN.

Or the Sheriff might say "Uh, it's pronounced Herr onimo."

I learned that this family has enough sense to take the alien gun away from Joe, but not enough to also take the shotgun.

Ha ha, I never thought about that!

I learned that a film can be made that hasn't got one single winsome character.  Everyone is an antagonist in this turd.

I learned that Andy Kaufman based Latka Gravas' physical posture on the JJ character from Galaxy Invader.

I learned that Yeardley Smith got her start in acting by playing Annie Montague.

I learned that realistic and engaging fight choreography was very important to the director of this movie.

I think Bruce Lee directed the fight scenes.

I learned that you can apparently film a re-enactment of  the old riddle with the goat, the cabbage and the wolf using an old man, an alien gun and an alien power source / disco ball and call it a movie.

Nobody thinks highly of Delaware...

Is it just me or did the Drool guy sound like Casey Kasem? Torn Shirt Guy sounded like Jimmy Stewart half the time, but no mention of "Fred" sounding like Casey.. Maybe it was just me..

EDIT: We'll that was strange. I hit a wrong key on my keyboard and I somehow posted the message with only about 10 characters typed. I love when stuff happens on my computer and I have no idea how I did it.

I'll have to listen to this again. However, to me Casey Kasem will always be Shaggy on Scooby-Doo, so I probably won't hear it regardless.

Also, "This is Casey Kasem, and we're counting down America's top ten turkeys."

A bit late to this, but I learned that somehow the guys thought they could get away with not a single John Hodgman joke when that Astronomer was onscreen, and no one would call them out on it.

FOR SHAME!
