More cartoons on the horizon?

Will Rifftrax do any more of these bizarre old b&w cartoons? After Frozen Frolics, I'm inspired by the thought of them tackling the truly insane Monkey Doodle: http://www.archive.org/details/MonkeyDoodle1933

Wow...

I've watched that twice now and I still have no idea what the point of it was. I'm definitely in favor of them riffing this though. Between the dog drinking gasoline and the monkey boobies... just.. wow. It's too bad large chunks of the audio seem to be missing towards the end.

I'm all for riffing animation. I'm actually a big fan of animation, and would like to see them riff an animated feature. But lacking that, I'd be happy to see more animated shorts.

:) Yes, it seems some animators of this period hadn't yet pioneered what we understand as narrative. It doesn't qualify as surrealism either, at least not intentionally. According to the summary from my Cultoons! DVD booklet, it was "created by Sports Cartoonist-turned animator Les Elton." But I guess it would be unfair to draw conclusions about sports cartoonists.

Regarding the audio, the booklet says "the surviving prints have all been edited in one form or another...The short silent sections included feature footage missing from all sound prints."

Wow, that is a strange one.  But the animation is very good in some of it, nice and smooth with fine details, you can tell they spent a lot of time on it, I wonder if the missing audio would help it make more (any) sense?

Hasn't Monster A-Go Go taught you anything? There doesn't have to be a plot! I mean, monster! There was no plot, or was there? A razor thin line... flag on the moon... "Vacation!"
