How can you not love Ralph and his mad genius? "I Love Lisa" is a Ralph Tour de Force.

There are so many secondary Simpsons characters that would be deserving of a spot on this list. Come to think of it, you could probably do an entire list of favorite Simpsons characters.

Lord knows there are plenty to choose from...

Lots of really good ones from Futurama, but a personal favorite has always been MORBO:

LoC Rest of the Best - Day 26 – Favourite TV Themes
Powerpuff Girls (End Theme)

Personal thoughts:
Awesome.  Bis is a great band and the song has a mix of the sweetness of bubblegum pop and the rambunctious energy of punk.  I also highly recommend the album "Powerpuff Girls: Heroes and Villains" with original music by Frank Black, Devo, Optiganally Yours, Shonen Knife, Dressy Bessy and more.  All the bands do great songs and none of them feel phoned in.

BTW, here are some other great Bis songs:

Parks and Recreation

It's an infectious theme in the same vein as the Office theme, but bouncier, and the editing in the intro plays off its energy really well. Sweet and simple.

Unfortunately this is the best video I could find and it doesn't have the last note of the song.

This one has the final notes, but 1) it's scrunched and 2) it's I guess from season 1 probably so the theme is a little bit different...

Baccano!

Baccano!'s theme is one of my favorites, and that includes not just the music but the sequence as a whole. All these characters are main characters, but it takes a long time for many of them to even show up. As a result, the opening gets better as you meet the characters, and it serves as a reminder that the whole series was planned out from the beginning.

Also, if there was a LoC for "Best character names", Jacuzzi Splot would be at the top of my list.

Also: the firefly theme, like the show, sucked goat testicles.

I like the show, but always always always skip the theme. I can't stand it.

Arrested Development

Looking over the list, I was shocked to not see this one.

Just as Imrahil claims that he is definitively right with no room for opinion, I say Imrahil is definitively very wrong.

Never seen Boccano.  I... I guess it's about poker?

Haha actually not at all. It's an extremely violent mafia story with some immortality mixed in.

You're right, I always claim that.  However, I do it without actually claiming it, so it's magnificent of you to pick it up.  Guess what else I'm claiming now?

I try to avoid jumping claims. It invariably ends with discomfort and bathroom unpleasantness.

L.O.C. #26 - Top Theme Songs

Thoughts
More Venture love! This theme is so perfect for the show. It's loud, anxious, and weird. I love how it combines the big, blaring, exciting action theme with spooky, off-beat elements. It's one of those themes that completely psychs you up for the show. The ending theme is great as well. The Venture Bros.: The Music of J. G. Thirlwell has a bunch of awesome stuff on it. There are a ton of clips on YouTube.

 The Wiki
J. G. Thirlwell's music - under his various project names: Foetus, Wiseblood, Steroid Maximus, Baby Zizanie, Manorexia and others - includes elements of punk rock, 20th century classical music, industrial music, big band, Americana, jazz, African and Cuban percussion, and epic/horror film soundtracks. Much of Thirlwell's aural output is built on a percussive, rock music-type structure, though to call it rock music would be inaccurate. Thirlwell prefers not to categorize music in general, and this is evidenced in the way his music transcends genres: by means of accomplished studio-as-instrument craftsmanship, Thirlwell combines percussion, strings, distortion, brass, electric guitars, electronic sounds and voice into a single, frenzied, epic symphony of hate, pain, violence, grief, beauty and fury - at once powerful, complex and primal. Recurring lyrical themes include destruction, persecution, anxiety, abuse, incest, masochism, angst, self-destruction, self-abuse, lust, prejudice, murder, failure and machismo, often expressed using American colloquialism and black humour. J. G. Thirlwell is also a member of Freq out and the Freq out orchestra.

Some of Thirwell's incidental music for the show.

Now now, no one says always.  Oh, except you just now.  Wait, wait... this is a paradox isn't it?  Ow, my head.

The Venture Bros theme is pretty damned awesome!  There are a lot of themes I would have loved to added.

Never heard the Parks and Rec theme before, but it's pretty good.

I like the music in Arrested Development but the opening is pretty brief and I usually like my openings to be a little longer.  Still, I love the songs created for the show, including the power-anthem "Balls in the Air" and the unbelievably creepy theme to "Motherboy", not to be confused with the band Motherboy, who rock pretty hard.
