What devilish things did we learn?

A movie called "The Devil's Hand" doesn't need to have any references to a hand
The early 60s had a much different definition of "quite a man"
There are other Devil Gods besides the Devil God of Evil

:D :D Yes. That guy could not have been more bland if he had tried. And he sure as hell didn't try.

I learned that it is perfectly normal, even healthy, for a grown man to purchase a doll. I mean, surely I'm not the only one who has an extensive doll collection, right? ...Hello?
Oh bite me, it's fun!

I learned that the two lead actresses in the film are sisters.  And the hotter, eviler one was married to Tyrone Power, who was possibly the prettiest man ever onscreen.

I learned that, as a custom doll store purveyor, it shouldn't be taken as suspicious when he denies a doll looks very much like someone to whom it looks very much like.  Similarly, it shouldn't be considered creepy when he has a doll waiting and gift wrapped for a man who denies ordering it.  In these cases 1) just agree the doll bears a faint resemblance and 2) take the box just as if you had ordered and paid for it.

I learned that there are custom doll stores. And they are so common that they can be used as an inconspicuous front for a cult.

I learned where Midnite Mausoleum (more traditional horror hosting on several UHF stations) found the music for their opening credits. Already gave the director a chance to hear Kevin's lyrics.

How did the frumpier one end up with the vaguely euro accent?

I learned that cults in the 50s will let black people join as long as they are trained dancers and let fat people join as long as they pair up.

I learned that there is such a thing as arbitrary drumming. And cultists apparently like it.

I learned that 40-ish unemployed layabouts are very much in demand.

I learned that it is much more efficient to use thought projection to get "men" than to just go to a bar and be hot.

I learned that a good undercover reporter, after infiltrating a cult, will write a note to himself reminding himself of this fact.

I learned that the cult of the devil god of evil cannot afford chairs.

I learned that you can make a gong noise with a set of bongos.
