The acting, directing, and effects were all excellent. But I couldn't get past how much I couldn't stand Clementine for being an insufferable flake. And while I had sympathy for how traumatizing the memory erasure procedure was, I was still completely in favor of it. So everything the movie tried to show me about the value of their relationship just grated on me and I wanted it over.
