But in the entire promo there was not a SINGLE instance of word-play or punning.  That was one of - if not THE - key to the original working and being so entertaining.  It seems from the promo that it is now ADHD-off-meds frantic (like so many horrendous animated series in the last couple decades).

I will tune in and try it.  But with that promo, I'm not hopeful that it will be something I can continue to watch.

Yeah, I have the same issue with video.  Anyway, I'm curious to know who the show runner is.  That might make the difference for me.

According to the article, it’s executive produced by Scott Fellows and Tiffany Ward.
