Nickelodeon announced they will be airing a new one-hour episode of Rocko’s Modern Life which was probably my all-time favorite Nick-Toon after Ren & Stimpy.

I can't wait! That and Angry Beavers were my two favorite Nicktoons

I'm also jazzed. I professed Ren and Stimpy to be my favorite Nicktoon back in the day, but Rocko was the one I always identified with. I've seen Rocko listed on a list of fictional INFPs (However the heck they diagnose THAT), which is my personality type, so maybe that's why I always related to him.

I loved Rocko at the time, but haven't dared to go back to it.

They've also got an Invader Zim film coming up. Hey Arnold too, so if they do well, we may see more after that.
FINE

Matt Groening has a new show coming, this time a fantasy comedy called Disenchantment.  Sounds fun and a good cast (including some Futurama vets AND Matt Berry!)

Good list, though. I'd replace Doug with Angry Beavers, I think, and Ninja Turtles is the only modern Nicktoon I've seen, but it's a solid list. And that's the way the news goes!

Do yourself a favour and watch both Avatar series.  They are very good.  Man, I still need to make a friend watch the new Voltron series from the same creators.

The Avatar shows are both fantastic, last month I re-watched a bunch of both.  I think they are gone from Netflix now, but still on Amazon Prime.  Well, not sure if all of Korra is on Prime, I bought season passes for the last 3 seasons when they aired so I might have those because of that.

Haven't payed attention to what the creators have been up to, might have to look into Voltron.

With the overwhelming positives here, I just searched and found both on Amazon and added them to my watchlist.  And Korra 1-3 is still part of Prime, MartyS.

Voltron isn't on Amazon, however I added the new one to my Netflix queue.  Is it the new Netflix Original Series - 'Voltron: Legendary Defender' - that's the one to watch, or a different one?
