LOL! I just watched that segment and completely missed that! I wonder if Steven knows who Bill is.

And if not, I wonder if anyone has specifically told him since it aired.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

And if not, I wonder if he at least realized that 'the person making the comment' was being deliberately over-the-top for humorous purposes.

You would think even if Stephen isn't a fan at least a few people on his writing staff would be.

RIP Christine Cavanagh.  Voice of Dexter (from Dexter's Lab), among others.

Powers was a great comicbook series, but I don't know how well it will translate.

Thought there was a thread or more of a post about Powers than this one, but FINALLY some news on it!  It's finally going to air! In March!

Oh... it's only on the Sony PSN. And it's free for Plus members.

Isn't Powers essentially what Agents of Shield is? Just maybe more film noir-ish in tone?

If they do it right, yeah.  It definitely has a sense of humour, but overall it has a bleaker worldview.  What's more, the superhero population is much bigger and these cops jurisdiction is just a city.  It also often involves bringing guys in gaudy costumes into the interrogation room.

In all honesty, the trailer made me feel a little sheepish about the whole thing.  Still, I'm really hoping they adapt "Roleplay" a story in which the characters are hunting a serial killer who is leaving bodies of superhero LARPers all over the city.  It's a pretty good story.

I didn't watch the 40th Anniversay SNL special last night. At the end did it all turn out to be a nightmare of the Gorch puppets from Season 1?
