It's finally happened!

Batman!  1966!  The Complete Series!  On DVD!  Conan O'Brien (that last thing makes sense when you read the article)

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's Preacher, for AMC, is a go!  With a Breaking Bad writer, no less.

Now here's the big question: who should play the Saint of Killers?

I also feel like there is a big obvious Irish actor who would be perfect for Cassidy that I'm forgetting.

For those interested, the second part of season 2 of 'Perception' starts tonight.  That's the 'cop' show with an FBI agent (Rachel Leigh Cook) who works with a consultant (Eric McCormack) who is a neuroscience specialist, and who is a (usually) high-functioning schizophrenic.  I have generally been quite pleased with the way they portray both brain science and schizophrenia, and it is a show I really look forward to seeing again.  [The kinds of seasons the UK has all the time, and also like Perception has (basically 13 episodes - wait a year - 13 more), really irritate me, since I grew up with shows having at least 26 new episodes each year (for the other 26 weeks of that year they'd show re-runs so you could catch what you missed and see favorites again, in the days before VCRs and DVD season releases).  Hell, the original Dick VanDyke Show had 30 new episodes in its first year, and 32 in seasons 2-5.  And the second season of The Rocky and Bullwinkle show had 52 episodes (two new ones each week for 26 weeks, then all of them re-run the second 1/2 of the year)!  That was also when there was almost 5 minutes more 'show' per 1/2-hour (now it's more commercials).]

Back on topic: 'Perception' airs at 10:01 tonight on TNT.
