Listings & brief descriptions of a bunch of new series this fall. I skipped over a bunch that sounded horrid, were game shows, home improvement reality shows, etc. Some of these sound really bad, but there are some that sound decent. I left a majority in there in case people might like them.

The 100 (CW)
Nearly a century after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, a spaceship sends 100 juvenile delinquents back to Earth to investigate the possibility of re-colonizing. Based on the forthcoming Kass Morgan book of the same name, Jason Rothenberg will write and executive-produce with Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo. Henry Ian Cusick, Isaiah Washington, Paige Turco, Kelly Hu, Thomas McDonell, Eli Goree, Eliza Taylor, Christopher Larkin, Marie Avgeropoulos and Bob Morley will star.
About a Boy (NBC)
Based on the Nick Hornsby novel and Hugh Grant film, a loutish bachelor (David Walton) finds his priorities in life shifting after he befriends an awkward young neighbor (Benjamin Stockham). Parenthood's Jason Katims will write and executive-produce with original Boy producers Robert DeNiro, Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Jane Rosenthal. Jon Favreau will helm the pilot. Minnie Driver, Leslie Bibb, Al Madrigal and Anjelah N. Johnson will also star.
Almost Human (Fox)
This action-packed buddy cop show is set in a future in which LAPD officers like John Kennex (Karl Urban) are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids like Dorian (Michael Ealy). Fringe's J.H. Wyman, who will write, will reteam with Lost's J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk as executive producers. Minka Kelly, Lili Taylor, Mackenzie Crook, Mekia Cox and Michael Irby will also star.
Bad Teacher
Based on the Cameron Diaz film, a sexy, foul-mouthed divorcée (Ari Graynor) becomes a teacher to find her next husband. Happy Endings scribe Hilary Winston will write and executive-produce with Bad Teacher producers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky. Ryan Hansen, Sara Gilbert, Kristin Davis, Sara Rodier, Caitlin Kimball, Katie Walder and David Alan Grier will co-star.
Believe (NBC)
An unlikely relationship develops between a young girl (Johnny Sequoyah) with a gift and a man (Jake McLaughlin) sprung from prison who has been tasked with protecting her from the evildoers who covet her power. Harry Potter's Alfonso Cuaron and The Forgotten's Mark Friedman will write and executive-produce with Lost's J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk. Kyle MacLachlan, Delroy Lindo, Sienna Guillory, Arian Moayed and Jamie Chung will also star.
Betrayal (ABC)
A beautiful, unhappily married female photographer (Hannah Ware) begins a torrid affair with a lawyer (Stuart Townsend) for a powerful family. When he turns out to be defending a murder suspect who is being prosecuted by her husband (Chris J. Johnson), the relationship and the case begin a spiraling series of betrayals with cataclysmic results for everyone involved. ER's David Zabel will write and executive-produce. Henry Thomas, James Cromwell, Wendy Moniz, Elizabeth McLaughlin and Braeden Lemasters will co-star.
The Blacklist (NBC)
The world's most wanted criminal (James Spader) mysteriously turns himself in and offers to give up everyone he has ever worked with. His only condition: He will only work with a newly minted FBI agent (Megan Boone) with whom he appears to have no connection. Perfect Stranger's Jon Bokenkamp will write and executive-produce with Alias' John Eisendrath. Ryan Eggold, Diego Klattenhoff, Harry Lennix and Ilfenesh Hadera will also star.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Fox)
A group of detectives — including Saturday Night Live alum Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Terry Crews, Joe Lo Truglio and Melissa Fumero — form an odd family in a police precinct in the outermost neighborhood of New York City. Parks and Recreation's Mike Schur and Dan Goor will write and executive-produce with 30 Rock's David Miner. Samberg will also produce. Stephanie Beatriz and Chelsea Peretti will also star.
The Crazy Ones (CBS)
A single-camera, half-hour workplace comedy about a father-and-daughter team in the world of advertising. (Oscar winner Robin Williams plays the dad, while Sarah Michelle Gellar is the daughter.) Ally McBeal's David E. Kelley will write the pilot and executive-produce with Arrested Development's Dean Lorey and McBeal's Bill D'Elia. James Wolk, Amanda Setton and Hamish Linklater will also star.
Crisis (NBC)
Washington's most powerful players, including the president, find themselves blackmailed into an international conspiracy by an unlikely puppeteer. The FBI and a rookie Secret Service agent (Lance Gross) must unravel the mystery. Life's Rand Ravich will write and executive-produce with Far Shariat. Gillian Anderson, Rachael Taylor, Dermot Mulroney, Max Martini, Michael Beach, James Lafferty, Halston Sage, Max Schneider, Joshua Erenberg and Stevie Lynn Jones will star.
Dads (Fox)
From Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, this live-action comedy stars Seth Green and Giovani Ribisi as two successful thirtysomethings who have their lives turned upside down when their fathers (Martin Mull and Peter Riegert) move in with them. Vanessa Lachey, Brenda Song and Tonita Castro also star. Alec Sulkin, Wellesly Wild, Mark Cendrowski will executive-produce alongside MacFarlane.
Dracula (NBC)
Inspired by the classic Bram Stoker novel, this drama stars The Tudors' Jonathan Rhys Meyers in the title role. Based on a script from co-executive producer Cole Haddon, this version finds Dracula in London posing as an American entrepreneur who wants to bring modern science to Victorian society. But his true plan — to seek revenge on the people who ruined his life centuries earlier — is thwarted when her falls hopelessly in love with a woman named Mina (Jessica DeGouw ), who seems to be a reincarnation of his dead wife. Dracula will be executive-produced by Colin Callender, Tony Krantz (24), Gareth Neame (Downton Abbey) and Anne Mensah.
Enlisted (Fox)
After being in combat for several years, Pete (Geoff Stults) is posted at a military base in Florida to command his dysfunctional brothers' (Chris Lowell and Parker Young) squad. Cougar Town's Kevin Biegel will write and executive-produce with Saturday Night Live's Mike Royce. Keith David and Angelique Cabral will co-star.
The Family Guide (NBC)
A son (Eli Baker) who idolizes his blind father (J.K. Simmons) and is bemused by his mother — watches his family become closer post-divorce. 'Til Death's D.J. Nash will write and executive-produce with Arrested Development's Jason Bateman. Harold Perrineau, Lance Lim and Ava Deluca-Verley will also star.
Friends with Better Lives (CBS)
A group of thirtysomething friends, including gynecologists Bobby (Kevin Connolly) and Will (James Van Der Beek) and model Jules (Brooklyn Decker), each think the other has it better. Friends' Dana Klein will write and executive-produce with The Neighbors' Aaron Kaplan. Rick Donald, Zoe Lister Jones and Majandra Delfino also stars.
Gang Related (Fox)
A gang member (Ramon Rodriguez) sent in to infiltrate the San Francisco Police Department and rise through its ranks must balance his obligations to his crime family with an increasing sense of loyalty to his new "family": the SFPD's Gang Task Force. Fast Five scribe Chris Morgan will write and executive-produce with V's Scott Rosenbaum and Brian Grazer. Jay Hernandez, Terry O'Quinn, Cliff Curtis, Sung Kang, RZA, Shantel VanSanten and Inbar Lavi will also star.
The Goldbergs (ABC)
A multigenerational, dysfunctional Wonder Years set in simpler times, inspired by Adam F. Goldberg's own experience growing up in the '80s in a screwed-up but loving family, including Wendi McLendon-Covey, Jeff Garlin, George Segal and Hayley Orrantia. Breaking In's Goldberg will write and executive-produce. Darien Provost, Sean Giambrone and Troy Gentile will also star.
Hostages (CBS)
Toni Collette plays a surgeon who is recruited to operate on the president (James Naughton), an assignment that propels her family — Tate Donovan, Mateus Ward and Quinn Shephard — into a grand political conspiracy. Dylan McDermott is an FBI agent tasked with helping the family. Based on an Israeli series, the pilot is written and executive-produced by Jeffrey Nachmanoff (The Day After Tomorrow). Jerry Bruckheimer will also executive-produce. Sandrine Holt, Rhys Coiro and Billy Brown will also star.
Intelligence (CBS)
At the U.S. Cyber Command, a unit has been created around one agent (Lost's Josh Holloway) with a very special gift — a microchip has been implanted in his brain that allows him to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Michael Seitzman will write and executive-produce with American Horror Story's David Semel, who will direct. Michael Rady, Meghan Ory, Marg Helgenberger and James Martinez will also star. Will Yun Lee, P.J. Byrne and John Billingsley will guest-star.
Ironside (NBC)
In a remake of the 1960s drama, an acerbic police detective (Blair Underwood) who uses a wheelchair pushes and prods his hand-picked team to solve the most difficult cases in the city. The Sopranos' Michael Caleo will write and executive-produce with American Horror Story's David Semel. Spencer Grammer, Brent Sexton, Pablo Schreiber, Kenneth Choi and Neal Bledsoe will also star.
Killer Women (ABC)
Molly Parker (Tricia Helfer), the only woman in the Texas Rangers, is a ballsy, beautiful badass who knows how to get to the truth and isn't afraid to ruffle a few feathers along the way. Based on the Argentine series Mujeres Asesinas. The Playboy Club's Hannah Shakespeare will write while Modern Family's Sofia Vergara and Casino Royale's Martin Campbell will executive-produce. Michael Trucco, Alex Fernandez, Marc Blucas and Marta Milans will co-star.
Lucky 7 (ABC)
The lives of seven employees of a service station — Isiah Whitlock Jr., Stephen Louis Grush, Summer Bishil, Anastasia Phillips, Lorraine Bruce, among them — in Queens are changed in many unexpected ways when they win a lottery jackpot. David Zabel (ER) and Jason Richman (Detroit 1-8-7) will write and executive-produce with Steven Spielberg, Smash's Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank. Christine Evangelista and Luis Antonio Ramos will also star.
Marvel's Agents S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC)
Based on Marvel Universe's fictional and secret law-enforcement agency. Avengers' Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen will write and executive-produce. Clark Gregg will reprise his Avengers role, joined by Ming-Na, Brett Dalton, Elizabeth Henstridge, Ian De Caestecker and Chloe Bennet.
The Michael J. Fox Show (NBC)
Michael J. Fox returns to TV as Mike, a former New York news anchor who goes back to work but still manages to find time to drive his wife (Betsy Brandt) and three kids crazy. The show is executive-produced with Fox by Sam Laybourne and Will Gluck and also stars Conor Romero, Juliette Goglia, Jack Gore, Kate Finneran and Wendell Pierce.
The Millers (CBS)
A recently divorced guy's (Will Arnett) life gets more complicated when his mom (Margo Martindale) and dad (Beau Bridges) have marital problems of their own. Written and executive-produced by Raising Hope's Greg Garcia. JB Smoove, Michael Rapaport, Eve Moon, Cole Ewing and Mary Elizabeth Ellis will also star.
Mind Games (ABC)
From Awake's creator Kyle Killen, the project is a provocative workplace ensemble about the complicated relationship between two brothers — Steve Zahn and Christian Slater — who head an agency that uses the real science of human motivation and manipulation to solve its clients' problems. Megalyn Echikunwoke, Gregory Marcel, Wynn Everett and Cedric Sanders will also star. Ron Rifkin will guest-star.
Mixology (ABC)
Set in a sexy Manhattan bar, the high-concept comedy from the writers of The Hangover chronicles the exploits of singles in search of love all over the course of one night. Jon Lucas and Scott Moore will write and executive-produce. Kate Simses, Sarah Bolger, Adam Campbell, Vanessa Lengies, Alexis Carra, Ginger Gonzaga, Craig Frank, Blake Lee, Adan Canto and Andrew Santino will star.
Murder Police (Fox)
This animated workplace comedy from Family Guy's David A. Goodman and Jason Ruiz chronicles the misadventures of neurotic detective Manuel Sanchez (Ruiz) and his less-than-reliable colleagues at the precinct. The show will feature the voices of Jane Lynch, Wilmer Valderrama, Will Sasso and Chi McBride.
Resurrection (ABC)
What happens when the people you have mourned and buried suddenly appear on your doorstep as if not a day's gone by? The lives of the people of Arcadia are forever changed when their deceased loved ones... return! Based on the novel by Jason Mott, the pilot is written by Criminal Minds' Aaron Zelman. Matt Craven, Frances Fisher, Samaire Armstrong, Sam Hazeldine, Nicholas Gonzalez, Devin Kelley, Mark Hildreth, Landon Gimenez, Omar Epps and Kurtwood Smith will star.
Sean Saves the World (NBC)
Will & Grace alum Sean Hayes stars as a father who must figure out how to parent his 14-year-old daughter while dealing with a temperamental new boss. Better Off Ted's Victor Fresco will write and executive-produce with Hayes, and Hot in Cleveland's Todd Milliner. Sleepy Hollow (Fox)

The Tomorrow People (CW)

They work together to defeat the forces of evil. Chuck's Phil Klemmer will write and executive-produce with The Vampire Diaries' Julie Plec and Arrow's Greg Berlanti. Undateable (NBC)
A group of friends, dubbed the "Undateables," welcome a more confident guy (Chris D'Elia) to their fold. Due Date scribe Adam Sztykiel will write and executive-produce with Cougar Town's Bill Lawrence. Brent Morin, Matthew Wilkas, Briga Heelan, Bianca Kajlich, Ron Funches and Rick Glassman will co-star.
We Are Men (CBS)
A young guy (Chris Smith) finds camaraderie living among the more experienced guys — Kal Penn, Tony Shalhoub and Jerry O'Connell among them — he meets in a short-term rental complex. How I Met Your Mother's Rob Greenberg will write and executive-produce with Eric and Kim Tannenbaum (Two and a Half Men). Rebecca Breeds will also star.
