Uuugh. Not since the cancellation of MST3K have I felt a show's cancellation so hard.

Meanwhile, Adult Swim's Twitter says:

We also want more Venture Bros. and have been working with Jackson and Doc to find another way to continue the Venture Bros. story.

Hopefully that means a movie or two. Maybe it even means HBO Now gets it or something, since they seem intent on picking up all the non-Star Wars/Disney content that I crave, but not running on Fire Sticks.

If this can somehow turn into having several specials or movies instead of waiting for several years between seasons, perhaps it can be a net win overall. It's felt the last few seasons that their ideas were just growing beyond the bounds of a 30 minute episodic series, and yet it was somehow consistently good.

I'm picturing getting one or two 90 minute episodes a year, and that could be nice and epic.

All wishful thinking at this point though.

Oh wow. I really liked the first season of the 2014 show, so I hope this is a continuation. Or at least still has Matt Ryan as Constantine.

Is this done by the same people as Robot Chicken? Because it seems a lot like that. I personally still like RC so I see that as a positive, but I know some people are getting tired of it.
I hope it's not all just personal drama, I would like to get some good superhero action in this series too.
