Man, Big Bird and Oscar were my favorites when I was growing up. I wonder if they will/can replace him. I remember the death of Mr. Hooper, but somehow killing Big Bird seems like a little TOO much reality for a children's educational show.

Spinney retired in 2018. His understudies Matt Vogel and Eric Jacobson already perform Big Bird and Oscar respectively.
FINE

Though I disagree with the article's position on the books.  It would be best if they distanced themselves from the sequel novels.

It'd be best if it distanced itself from Willow altogether and became an adaptation of a different franchise altogether.

I'm pretty sure that MMORPG or whatever is not a TV series.  Also we have a Star Trek thread and a whole video game board.

Yeah, meant to put that in the Trek thread.

It happens.

Also, this is news from over a month ago I missed but Pendleton Ward is co-creating a TV show called The Midnight Gospel in which audio clips from the Duncan Trussell Family Hour podcast are repurposed for a tale about a mystic travelling the multiverse, interviewing people from dying worlds.  Super into this.

Man, I really want to watch that Harley Quinn show. The first episode was really fun. But I don't want to pay for yet another streaming service. Especially since there isn't much of anything else on it I would watch.
