Best Love Songs
« on: February 13, 2007, 04:41:14 PM »
It's Valen-Time! What's everyone's favorite Love Song? I'm partial to Longer (Dan Fogelberg), Always (Atlantic Starr), I Want to Know What Love Is (Foreigner), and Groovy Kind of Love.

Love Shack by the B-52s.   ;)

Seriously...Fields of Gold by either Sting or Eva Cassidy.

"Who Wants To Live Forever" by Queen. Tears my heart out every time.

Ooh, Fields of Gold is a pretty great tune.

Yes.  I was stunned when I heard the Eva Cassidy one, at how different but yet equally beautiful it was.  She had an amazing voice.

"You've got that lovin' feelin'", as sung by Tom Cruise and Anthony Edwards.

I'm gettin' all teary-eyed just thinking about it...  :'(

Marvelous song.

"Sunrise" - The Who

(Who were you expecting?  Burt Bacharach?)

Then again, I'm not entirely sure.  There's one other song I'm grappling with putting at number one.

(What can I say?  I'm a romantic). ;D

It's "You've LOST that lovin' feeling", originally performed by the Righteous Brothers... and using that as a lame segue for my choice....

"Unchained Melody - The Righteous Brothers"
