I learned that ancient cave paintings were drawn with Sharpie.

I did learn why Doc is initially hesitant to go anywhere with people. Apparently these yahoos call him out whenever ANYTHING happens that actually required rubbing two brain cells together.

I learned that Guy Caballero is occasionally "moist". 
Really, the guy did look a lot like Guy Caballero. I wish they had done more references to that and fewer of the British jokes. They got kind of old.

I learned that even if you portray a character as a lecherous, dumb, habitually drunk, and greedy redneck you still can make his death the dramatic high-point and poignant focus of the movie.

While it would be completely beyond sanity to believe a dinosaur egg that embedded in the muck at the bottom of a lake for hundreds of thousands of years could hatch it is on the other hand completely possible for an egg that laid there for mere several thousand years to hatch.

Yeah, the cave paintings were hysterical. Almost as funny, the absolute conviction of everyone in the movie that the cave paintings guaranteed factual history.

I learned that we are expected to beleive that the sherrif's department in this county has at least four cars. I find that hard to beleive, but the movie said "car four" so it must be true.

I learned that Kevin is very slow in deturmining whether something is a cop car or not. I admire his thoroughness, though.

I learned that a Senator can die in a small town and not one news reporter will show up to report the story.

I learned that some part of Oregon is three hours from Vegas.

I learned about the game Mustache Punch Bug. i think I'll play that with my friends next time we go to Little Italy in NYC.

I learned that Doc is the most easily pushed around character in movie history.  No matter what he always goes with and does what other people want him to,even when they refuse to tell him where they are going.
