Netflix Instant Filter

Howdy!  I'm an old MST3K fan and I love Rifftrax as well.  Keep up the great work and the laughs coming.

After a quick search, I couldn't find a thread with the following suggestion on the forum so I figured I post it:
I often find myself searching through through the Featured-length Riffs to see what riffs are available on instant netflix.  It would be great if there was a filter to see what riffs are available instantly, so people can find them very quickly.

Just a suggestion and hopefully a helpful one.

That would be a good idea. I love Netflix Instant and am often dissapointed when movies aren't on it. I know Rifftrax has a long catalog of titles, so doing so would be rather time consuming, but maybe it's something the iRiffer groups could do.

I also agree that that is a good idea. The only issue is that movies come and go on instant. Like Dune was on there, so I intended to watch the iRiff of that. But last I checked it was gone.

True. For a long while all the Friday the 13th movies were on Netflix Instant, but now only the last two are.

I've been using this site for all my streaming news.

I suppose if they added a disclaimer to the filter that just because it is on instant now, doesn't mean it will be there later, and to check before purchasing. Maybe also have a feedback section for people to notify them when things come or go.

Even something as simple as a little Netflix logo would be really great.  Of course, Netflix Watch Instantly titles come and go (after May 22nd; no more Rocko's Modern Life... NOOO!), so that's almost asking for complaints (eventually).  Anyway, I say it's worth it.  Then again, I'm not the one who has to answer those emails.

This is a great idea. I think we have a list maintained internally (at least one was generated that I'm aware of). I'm not sure how we'd be able to keep it current at all times, but it might be something worth investigating.

Here is a link to a current list of which featured riffs are available on Instant Netflix.  I can't guarantee that it is 100% correct, but it seems to be fairly accurate.  It even lists when they are available from, so if you have a hankering to watch XXX, you better do it soon...

As I said, it might not be 100% correct and it certainly doesn't cover cases like Battlefield Earth, so when in doubt check the RiffTrax website before buying anything.  Also, the last 9 entries crashed my script and I was to lazy to dig into why.  Some of them are instant available, so don't judge by the available columns only.

Thanks for the list. Although I don't see Last Airbender on Netflix Instant. It's the animated show that is available on Instant.

So the list includes some movies that are not streaming yet, but will be soon.  The Last Airbender starts streaming 7/16/11 and Aeon Flux starts on 11/1/11, so keep that in mind when looking for an instant movie.

Even just a link to the Netflix page for the movie would be cool.  Then you'd be able to add it to your queue, or if its available on instant you would see that on the linked page.
