« on: May 14, 2011, 05:35:16 PM »
I've been dvr-ing the show and watched the first two episodes.    Don't know if I like it or not.

Anyone else watching it?

I think I might give this show a try, although everything I know about the Borgias comes from Assassin's Creed so I'll probably get dissapointed that no one is plotting about finding the Piece's of Eden so the Templars can conquer the planet.

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

Don't get Showtime, will probably watch it at some point, will also most likely have the same mixed reaction that I do to The Tudors: Pleasantly surprised to see the sequence (if not the timing) of events, even quite obscure ones, fairly accurately presented, aghast at the crassness of the performances/casting choices quite often.

This. I can't wait for the Assassin's Creed movie.

But no, I probably won't be watching this, since I don't get Showtime and honestly don't find much interest in it. Or any HBO/Showtime/Starz/etc "original series" - don't know why. Maybe because it feels like it takes so much more dedication to follow it (dedication to watch a TV show - ha! I kill myself) and everything just feels denser, somehow.

Plus, I don't want to see Cesare make out with his sister again. Eegck.

I gave up on it and cancelled the DVR season pass.

Just not that interesting to me.

oh yeah, cards on the table, I watch The Tudors for that reason too; everybody has had a hotness upgrade, especially Mary Tudor, possibly the only infanta in history to be her own attendant dwarf jester.

I have to say that as dumb as some of these revisionist dramas are for shoehorning in sex and violence at every available turn, I still don't mind watching them. I've never been one to turn my nose up at gratuitous sex.

I've watched about 4 episodes.  I'm enjoying it so far.  Lucrezia is very attractive.   :)

Wow that's actually really good casting, she's obviously had better nutrition than the actual Lucrezia but
