I can't imagine this thread has gone for five pages without a mention of the Mother/Earthbound games.  But I'm mentioning them anyway.  Yes, I know Mother 3 was released in Japan, but I'm ethnocentric and don't count it unless it's been released in a language my dumb, unilingual self can read.

Also, I'd love to see sequels to all the classic lucasarts games (as most people here seem to).

Oh, new versions of the old kemco adventure games (shadowgate, deja vu, the uninvited) would be cool too.

so there

Shadowgate enjoyed a nifty sequel on the N64. Kinda hard to come by, but worth it if you find it. :^)

Gameboy Adv. had a game or two similar to the old point and click adventures, not sure what a sequel would accomplish in a game like that you've already solved the mystery, wouldn't you rather have a whole new adventure?

I could live with a new adventure, but the same characters can have a different adventure too.  Look at sam & max, the new sequels are actually really good.  And everybody loves maniac mansion 2: day of the tentacle.

The DS has a few adventure-type games out for it.  Notably the Phoenix Wright games, both of which are awesome.

I LOVE Phoenix Wright. If anyone can find me a ringtone that plays the Steel Samurai theme that works on a Sprint Samsung A900, I will buy you a Rifftrax. :^)

Wing Commander 3 and 4. Something about live actors, great story lines, and blowin' ships up.

And Oni. Wish they would've made a second one.

Star Raiders. There aren't enough good space combat games out these days and Star Raiders pretty much started that genre so it would be awesome to see that come back to life.

Naw, not on my phone. Has to be converted to a proper ringtone. No idea how to convert a MIDI or I would. :^)
