I absolutely adore the show and am so happy the HUB has been airing it for a while now. Julie Newmar has got to be my all-time celebrity crush, and still chuckle out loud when her Catwoman flirts w /Batman while he's flippin's annoyed by it. King Tut's my favorite baddie from the show, and I really need to get myself an "Alvino Ray Gun"...

Funny enough, I was exposed to Batman when I was around eleven or so, and I always found it uncanny that my grandmother looks just like Caesar Romero's Joker regarding facial features. Place some clown makeup on her, dress her in purple....huzzah!! It has always added some comical nuance to his episodes for me. Much like my aunt, if someone was mad enough to hybridize David Hasselhoff & Daryl Hall, you'd have her! She's a maneater!!

You're not the only one. Gotta wait for the studios to get thier heads out of their asses first. It's a problem because I believe the series was made by Fox Television and then later Warner Bros bought up DC Comics so they own the Batman character, and since then they've been arguing what their share of the profits would be.

Oh for crying out load.    Look Warner Brothers and the BBC are able to make a deal for Warner Brothers to sell BBC shows over hear and they are not even in the same country.  You would think two companies based in the same city that must do business together once in a while would be able to reach a deal after all these years.

This reminds me that there is also some sort of copyright problem that is keeping Babylon 5 from being able to be rerun on TV.  sometimes copyright law can be a pain.

That Warner Bros. / Fox thing is only part of it if some of the rumors are to be believed.  Some reports indicate the entire hangup is between Fox and DC, and WB isn't even involved.  Also reports that ABC and Greenway (both helped produce the show) productions are also part of the conflict.

Then there's the talk that the licensing rights with all the guest villains (MST3K fans should know about licensing issues :) )

Unfortunately, Fox's attempt at payback a couple years ago (by trying to screw with the release of Watchmen) only exacerbated things.

Oh good night!  Are all Hollywood studios run by 7 year olds?

If I had highspeed i would own them all by now.  I don't feel guilty about downloading something the studio who made it refuses to release.  I mean if the 90s Spiderman cartoon was ever released on DvD I would buy it.

There were also rumors at the time that the Watchmen thing was done in hopes of making a deal so they could put out Batman DVDs.

Dear HUB,

Could you please add MASK to your roster?
