Would you buy MST3K: Episode Guide volume 2?
« on: February 11, 2007, 08:56:36 PM »
I checked Amazon today and see that the Amazing Colossal Episode Guide is still available, which leads me to ask whether you all would buy a second volume covering seasons 7 to 10?
I know mst3kinfo.com has articles by the cast online for season 7 and scifi.com used to have articles for all the episodes on their channel.   I can imagine these are online somewhere but I think there's money to be made if Best Brains would put a book together and find a publisher.
I realize this is out of the control of Mike, Kevin and Bill but thought a thread would give us a chance to acknowledge that this book could sell.  Maybe someone has info on who we should contact to let them know we're interested in a complete history of all MST episodes.

They should just do a second edition of the guide to include the last seasons. Also you can get the Sci-fi ones from mst3kinfo.com as well.

No I wouldn't buy it.

I don't mind reading it on mst3kinfo.com. If I wanted a paper copy of it, I'd just print it.

I would happily buy a second edition! The thing about the print ACEG vs. online is that online we basically only get the episode entries--no season introductions; no fun extras along the lines of the tribute to Miles O'Keefe, "your area and you," etc. Also, I'm just anal enough that I'd like to see a new edition with some of the minor errors from the ACEG cleared up.

I'm pretty sure it's never going to happen, but there you go.
That shocks my full military wear!

Yes, I would buy the 2nd edition...  Hell, I'd buy official "MST3K" asbestos if they put it out.

100% yes. I often refer to Volume 1 & would love a companion. A Rifftrax book (in color) would rock! Love them color pictures.  ;)

Amazon still lists it so it must be available from distributors as well.  If you have a favorite local bookstore, you could ask them to order it for you if you don't want to order online.   The MST3K fan club might still have copies for sale, also.

You can't get your computer screen autographed.  At the 1996 convention, I got signatures in the episode guide from Mike, Kevin, Trace, Mary Jo and Bridget.  Now I have to settle for Mike's on the new Legend releases  and I doubt he's wearing a big Cat in the Hat hat while he's signing them.
