Might wanna put Norm Macdonald's new podcast into the rotation. Fucking hilarious, especially the first episode with Super Dave.

I never miss an episode of Sklarbro Country. I could listen to those guys all day.

Like a welcome shot of whiskey in between takes of Dodge Ram voice overs...Sklarbro Country.

I love the Weekly Wahlberg on Sklarbro.

I'm starting to enjoy the County episodes more than Country mainly because of Dan Van Kirk.

One of my favourite Podcasts, The Paul Goebel Show (with Beat the Geeks' TV Geek), is ending now (the last episode just aired with a great episode that has some real awkwardness when Gallagher of all people shows up in the final act) and a retrospective episode will air.  Still, Paul will be starting a new one soon with David Bax of Battleship Pretension, so I'm looking to see how that turns out.

We've been listening to a lot of How Did This Get Made? The three hosts/regulars (Paul Scheer, June Diane Raphael and Jason Mantzoukas) are terrific -- Paul keeps things moving along, June has some excellent and pithy observations and Jason is hilarious. So far our favorite one has been with guest Thomas Lennon for the Hulk Hogan movie.

I like the show, but it can get awfully shouty sometimes.  The Flophouse Podcast does something similar, but features a couple of writers from the Daily Show.

I have noticed that this is especially true when they have a guest.

I love when June completely misses some chunk of plot & they let her explain what she thinks was happening.  ;D

Is Jason still in The Dictator?  ;)

Stumbled across Janet Verney's podcast "The JV Club".  Listened to several last night, gets a bit "girly" at times depending on the guest but the rest of the time it's really interesting.

It's been awhile.

U Talkin' U2 To Me?, anyone? I seriously cannot get enough of the sub-podcast extravaganza in the commentary special. The conceit of the episode had me laughing non-stop, but oh man, I Love I Love I Love Films. I agree w/ PFT, I couldn't connect with I Love I Love Films either. The hosts are total dick-faces.

U2, hurry up and release that album, and while you're at it, send the Scotts some t-shirts and college girls!

I'm glad I listened to this podcast. Otherwise,  I don't think I would ever know the names of the band members.

If anyone is interested, I just did a guest spot on the Hitting Play podcast where we look at the 1st episode of The Tick animated series.

(It's actually a really good podcast, I've been suggesting it to people even before they asked me to be on there.)
