I guess it's being filmed in 3D though, so that's better than post conversion.
As I don't really notice 3D no matter how it's shot or how good it works, it makes no particular difference to me. Just a few extra dollars I've got to fork over for the midnight show 
I thought I was the only one who really couldn't tell if something was 3D or not. 3D movies still look two dimensional to me (and yes, when I'm wearing the glasses).
It's not so much that I can't physically tell, since at first I can. I think. I can tell things look a little different, at least.
It's just that about half an hour into a movie, I really do stop noticing, and have to force myself to look around the screen to see something that makes me go "Oh yeah, this is in 3D". Not exactly something that really gets me excited.
And I'll probably be able to find a 2D midnight screening. I did of John Carter last night, and these days they don't seem to be pushing the 3D-only option as hard.
