    • Yep, I have a deviantART gallery. But it's pretty cheerful drawings-- no angsty poems or black-and-white photos of wooden chairs.

Yeah, but even if it DOES build to something (it kinda fizzled at the end last year, in my opinion), it came at the expense of two months where we should've been laughing our asses off.

Sure, the show always had its misses, but this just isn't working for me.
I used to have an image here, but Photobucket got cheap about remote linking. I guess I'll have to think of something witty instead. Which I will. Later. It caught me by surprise, in all honesty. It's hard to be clever on command, I mean, YOU try it. Be funny: NOW! See, tough. So, gimme a bit, 'kay?

Watched the 1st episode of season 21(Still can't believe this show's been on for that long), and Cartman is of course still an asshole. Question though... is it possible to maybe develop or have our characters(specifically Cartman) mature just a little bit? I mean I know, I realize that a big part of Cartman is his unrelenting bad attitude, but some might argue that's part of his appeal for better or for worse. In any case, I could NEVER see Cartman having a girlfriend. As long as Cartman stays the way he has since day 1, he will in my opinion never be suitable relationship material for anyone. Which makes me wonder how they met and got together in the first place(unless of course I missed something in season 20, which I admit is quite possible).

I really am not sure if I want an Alexa in my home. I'm perfectly happy just doing certain things online with my laptop or putting music into my cd player(Yes, I know, I'm behind the times). Repeating back what you just told Alexa might seem funny at first, but after a while it's got to get stale.

I just thought the whole thing with "White people renovating homes" just felt kind of weak for being key to the whole story. The way everything resolved in the end was mostly just confusing to me, almost as if they didn't know where to take it all.

Yeah, they got together in Season 20.

It was kind of a weak season opening, but South Park's always been a little hit or miss. I'm sure there will be some winners this season.

I hope so cuz I've always liked South Park and I have come to have certain expectations from the show.

Okay I just watched "Put it down" on Google Play and it was pretty damn good. I think Tweak and Craig make a great couple.  :)

There was an episode about something they dubbed "True Crime Murder Porn" or something.  Cable shows doing documentaries about people killing their spouses.  The kids were all worried about these shows being a bad influence and driving their parents to kill.  At one point, they install blocking software on the cable boxes.  To watch these shows, parents must answer the question "how do you tame a horse in Minecraft?", which none of them can answer.

I was recounting this episode to some adult family members.  My 6 year old niece, who was in the room at the time, heard the Minecraft question and enthusiastically chimed in "Oh!  I know that! It's easy!"
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.

I remember that one very fondly. My mom likes to watch ID from time to time so that bothers me a little bit.

I just watched the newest episode "Holiday special", and it was pretty funny. Randy Marsh is such an idiot sometimes. He also seems very confused as to what the word "indigenous" means. It's just funny that his son Stan has always seemed so much more level-headed by comparison. Anyways, the school is going to be in session for Columbus day and naturally the kids have completely flipped out over this development.

Enjoying the new season so far.  What happened to Mr Garrison though?

Either he's the president, having morphed more fully into his Trump form, or they've quietly undone that little detail. It's ambiguous, I think.

Judging by the image seen in the tweets in the last episode, I think everything is back to normal with Mister Garrison.

You'd be incorrect. Here's the Twitter header image from @4realpresident.

He's still President. (And pretty sure that South Park Studios set up that account since a) they used it in the episode and they're generally savvy enough to do register it before the show and b) That's not an image of Garrison that I've seen before.)
