well this was one of those movies that got riffed during the KTMA years of mst3k, and was never redone when the show was taken to comedy central,.  I think would be pretty sweet to give er another riffing.  I can't quite remember if there were other movies riiffed that were never redone after KTMA tho, if anyone know, please help me out here

Um...I wouldn't call it being "redone" since Mike, Kevin, nor Bill were ever the KTMA actors.

still, it would be inerseting if they did a few of the KTMA movies tho,  especially hangar 18 with darren mcgavin, I honestly liked the movie, but still it would be interesting to see if it can be riffed

Most of the KTMA shows were not re-done later and a few needed to be,  "Phase IV & Superdome", for example.
The problem is finding these films to watch.
And that's all the foreshadowing we can afford.

Most aren't out on DVD. Only one I could find of the KTMA's was Hangar 18, it's on Netflix.

I would love a copy of SST Death Flight just for the sheer 70's starpower.

As much as I love Rifftrax, I feel these movies would be better suited for Cinematic Titanic, mostly because of Joel, Trace, and Josh.
I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.

Hard to argue with that logic!

You might be interested to know that an iRiffer has riffed The Green Slime, a film that Joel chose for the unaired KTMA pilot. The movie was recently made available on DVD though Warner Bros. manufacture-on-demand (MOD) program at their online studio store.

I concur with TorgosPizza because of Alan Moore, Rich Little and John Gotti.
