Ace of the Diamond, the baseball anime.  Actually very deep and intricate details about the sport.  Quite entertaining.

I recently finished Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. The best thing about the series is that the wrap up... the ending, is so much more satisfying than the one from the original series. The series also contains characters who are more well-developed than those you'll find in your average mainstream movie.

I must also give HUGE props to some wonderful songs from the soundtrack to both series. USO by Sid(?) is one of my favorite songs and since it's in japanese all I have are the translated subtitles. But I don't care, it's still a lovely song. I liked it so much I actually bought the song on a single that had to be imported from Japan(Not available thru digital means). Shunkan Sentimental is also really fun if a bit frantic. It's a crazy fun little song. Again by Yui is remarkable. I think I've already mentioned Melissa by Porno Grafitti and Tobira No Mukuo by Yellow Generation... all remarkable songs.

I am amazed at how much I love these songs. I guess I have a thing for J-pop or something. I'll take J-pop over our current pop culture sensations.

I haven't watched much anime but now have 2 months of access to Funimation.com streaming.
Any recommendations on what to watch on that site?

I started watching Freezing on Netflix and wanted to see season 2 so got the sub pass for one month on Funimation.com, but seem to have gotten 2 months for $5.  Five Dollars was probably over paying for Freezing season 2, but there was just enough of a story arc there to keep watching.

Well... Funimation is responsible for both Fullmetal Alchemist series... so...

They do Sgt. Frog, don't they? That one's a guilty pleasure of mine. It feels like it's aimed a bit younger than I am, except sometimes it's not. It's got a goofy energy that I dig...

Is Sergeant Frog related to Sergeant Pepper from Starfox? Or the frog from Chrono Trigger?  :D

OK, that's something that isn't on Netflix but is on the Funimation.com site.  I'll take a look at that.

Watched a few of  Fullmetal Alchemist, that's pretty good, and on Netflix if I don't get to all of it.

Just noticed they have Space Battleship Yamato, I've seen lots of people building models of that on the modeling forums, will have to check out the movie.

Edit: Darn, the Space Battleship Yamoto that is on the site is the live action one from 2010, and kind of boring....

I just bought Noir and Steins Gate on bluray.... Hopefully they're good! I bought them based on Amazon reviews and the look of the box art!

I tried a new series called "Deadman Wonderland". I bought the first episode on the PSN and... I think I like it so far. I just need to see more of it. I only knew about it because of Watch Mojo. Hey Miku Fan, if you're there, ever seen it?
