That switch-adapter takes me back, man. Whoa.
:D :D Yeah it does!

I was in STL last weekend helping my dad throw out a bunch of junk from his basement and he had an old beer box (Pabst Blue Ribbon!) full of old analog AV equipment...... and there was an AV switcher in there.   I almost cried it was so nostolgic.

Yeah, I just got an RCA-to-F-type adapter, and run my 2600 into an old VCR, when I get the urge to play.

and bought these additional games..
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

If you ever should come across a Sears Tele-Games cartridge called "Stellar Track"...grab it.

It wasn't the flashiest graphics but it was the best strategy game I think ever produced for the system.

I'd love to watch a Youtube moment of the game......
Hmm..
And I just so happen to have an Atari 2600 ... :o

Wow...and it works?  Are you a collector or did you buy one for the nostalgia of it?
I was a gamer of sorts back in the 80's but never owned an Atari back then but recently came across this blast from the past a few months ago ..

Hozer Video, Eh?

Yeah, I think whoever buys this will definitely be getting 'Hozed' Eh?    ;D

The "homebrew" game is a lot more popular than you might imagine...now that the world has thoroughly bypassed the Atari, Commodore, and heck, even the NES, nostalgic nerd-types love to go back and make new games (usually for free) based on the programming for those old systems.  Usually these end up being emulated rather than for the official product, but I guess that's why Hozer Video exists...now your nostalgia trip can be put onto a cartridge and auctioned on eBay!  It might not be an officially licensed product, but heck, it certainly looks nice and professional.

Speaking of the NES, if it works, it'd be funny to see an NES port.  Considering the way Nintendo protects its QC, though, getting your hands on a blank NES cartridge that isn't some candy-blue monstrosity, even today, would probably require shady black market transactions... ;)

Yeah at the Classic Gaming Expo they had a homebrew Halo game for the 2600. It was actually pretty cool. I might have to track one down at some point. I don't care much for ACTUAL Halo, but Halo 2600 was fun :^)
