Stallone and Dicaprio
« on: August 17, 2007, 07:54:54 PM »
i'd say just about any movie they've done deserves RT.

cobra
driven
get carter
demolition man
cliffhanger
or at least, the mighty death race 2000

for dicaprio:
aviator
basketball diaries
man in the iron mask
the beach
what's eating gilbert grape
i could go on....

what other actors have a slew of films that are perfect for RT?

Geez, man, separate threads next time!  I thought for a minute that they were doing a movie together, and had a near-death experience.

Luckily for me, I'm kinda mulish about obeying disembodied voices telling me to walk toward the light.

DiCaprio's character in that is mentally impaired. I don't particularly see how you can make fun of that.

I can see all the backlash towards things like Titanic and other sorts of roles, but DiCaprio's actually a pretty decent actor. That's why Scorsese (last name only because, do I really need to type out his full name every time? It's not like someone's going to read this and think 'Ralph Scorsese?') casts him so often (The Aviator, The Departed, etc.)
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

I'm not a big fan of DiCap either, but I did like that movie a lot.  I also liked "Catch Me If You Can" quite a bit, but I definitely think a riff of Titanic would be very funny - if the movie wasn't so freakin' long.

Probably the same way people take the piss out of Hoffman in Rainman. The fact the actor is not impaired and therefore is putting it on gives more leeway for mocking.

They should do one of the Rocky's. Probably the one with the Russian.
