I love how he wants to take a 7 book series, the majority of which run 800+ pages, and make it into a movie trilogy.  ::)

I think it would make a much better HBO or Showtime series. Something high-budget. Between the novels and the comics and the other novels that connect to it, there's like several seasons worth of story material in there.

Either that or an anime.

Genndy Tartakovsky was pitching an animated series to HBO a few years ago, but unfortunately, nothing ever came of it.

I just got my copy in the mail last night, and I haven't started it yet.  I have to say, I'm really disappointed that the version on amazon has no artwork!
